From Austin:
Take Highway 290 East 12 mi. past Elgin, Tx. At church with white steeple turn left onto Waco Street (also known as Loop 223), You will come to a four-way stop, proceed through the intersection. Turn left immediately past the railroad track onto Brown Road. Continue on Brown Road for 1.9 miles. Turn left onto Eely Road. At the bottom of the hill take the right fork and follow the road to the Star Ranch front gate. Cars will go to the right, Large RV’s/Motor Homes to the left. Push intercom talk button, the office staff will greet you and direct you to the office.
From Houston:
Take Highway 290 West. Go one- quarter mile past the first intersection of Loop 223 (beside the cemetery) to Waco St. & the church with white steeple turn right onto Waco St. Use the above directions after reaching the 4 way stop.
From San Antonio/San Marcos:
Take Highway 35E north to San Marcos. Exit at Highway 80 and turn right at the light. Stay in the right-hand lane. Exit at Highway 81 to Bastrop (you will exit to the right and take a left at the stop sign). You will now be on Highway 21. You will go approximately 38 miles to Highway 71 and take a right. Enter onto the highway. Be sure you are in the left-hand lane after crossing over the river. You will need to take a left at Highway 95. Stay on Highway 95 approximately 17 miles to Farm Road 2336. Take a right at Farm Road 2336. FM 2336 will intersect with Highway 290. Cross over Highway 290 and go to the first stop sign. Take a left. Go to the first stop sign and take a right. You are on Waco Street (Loop 223) follow the directions above after reaching the 4 way stop.
